ARE YOU SMART?
(SMART Goal Setting Workshop)
INSTRUCTORS: Kit Malia & Anne Brannagan
'It is well recognised that goal setting is an effective way of achieving behavioural change in people. Some of the characteristics of goals that effectively alter behaviour are that the goals: should be relevant to the person concerned, should be challenging but realistic and achievable, and should be specific (in order to measure them)...Thus goal setting is an essential part, and indeed the central part of the interdisciplinary rehabilitation process'.
